 Shah Mehmood Qureshi may start within a fortnight, Cipher trial against Imran Khan, News Pakistan.

In the  cipher case the trial of deputy Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Pakistan Tehreek e insaf Chairman Imran Khan under the official Secrets Act is expected to start within a fortnight.

Imran Khan gets relief in the Toshakhana case and sentence suspended and his bail is accepted. Before the recent amendment to the Official Secrets Act, the special court was formed a few months back.

Former prime minister Imran Khan had pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket, ahead of vote of  no- confidence that resulted in his ouster, on March 27, 2022. He waved it in a jalsa in Islamabad, and claiming it was the evidence of an " international conspiracy"  being hatched  to topple his government.

Imran Khan was arrested in the similar case during his imprisonment in the

 Toshakhana case in Attack jail, was later remanded by the special court in custody of FIA for four days till 25, August, While Shah Mehmood Qureshi was arrested last Sunday.
